Hi there!

We are Greta and Jen - two mums and Primary School Teachers who know firsthand the beautiful chaos of mealtimes with little ones. When our first babies began solids, we (like so many first-time-mums) wanted only the best for them. But one day, after eating some leftovers from our babies’ adorable silicone plates, we were shocked to find that it tasted like detergent. That moment sparked a mission.

Frustrated with the lack of ceramic options for young children, we set out to design a brand new option ourselves. It took us almost four years, several prototypes, redesigns and problem solving (during nap times, after bedtimes and with toddlers on our laps!), to ensure that the product we created was exactly what we wanted for our own children.

Our products are designed with care, love and a deep understanding of what this season of life really looks like - messy, magical and full of heart.

From a late night idea to the beautiful product we now lovingly call the PLATE MATE, we hope to brighten every bite one dining table, one meal time, one café coffee date, family pub dinner at a time!
